Suriya said that Chiranjeevi was one of his inspirations for starting an NGO [Agaram Foundation]

At pre-release ceremony in Hyderabad, Tamil actor Suriya Sivakumar lauded Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi and promoted the release of his next film "ET."

Suriya revealed that Chiranjeevi's blood bank inspired him to launch a non-profit organisation. The 'Ghajini' actor is regarded as one of the best in the country and has a large following in the South. 

Through his 'Agaram Foundation,' he has been involved in humanitarian efforts all throughout Tamil Nadu. 

"If Chiranjeevi Sir can make a difference, I can contribute at least 1-2 percent of what he has been doing," Suriya said at a movie event in Hyderabad. 

"I am delighted to note that we have jointly managed to educate 5,000 youngsters via our foundation," Suriya remarked of his altruism.

Quick Film Update : On the professional front, Suriya is preparing for the release of his one of his upcoming films 'Etharkkum Thuninthavan' which will be dubbed in Telugu and released on March 11th.
